PILOT LADDER MAGNET

We has produced a pilot ladder securing magnet designed to withstand severe marine environment. have no moving part to securing the pilot ladder on the ship's side for safety.

Powder-coating in yellow color for high visibility and coating durability for the product seaworthy. In addition, they are light-weight at 3.5 Kg, but strong adhesive strength by Neodymium(NeFeB) magnet material (4EA/set) and they are fitted with four stainless durable bearings which is easy to attach and release by the principle of the lever. Our magnet case is robust and light weight stainless steel container for safe handling of two sets of ladder magnet, which make it suitable for rough handling and the harsh environment where the magnets are often used and stored.

REPLATED REGULATION FOR PILOT LADDER TRASFER

SOLAS Chapter V, Reg. 23 Pilot transfer arrangement

The Amendments 2000 to the international Convention for the safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Chapter V, Regulation 23. Pilot transfer arrangements, Clause 3 Transfer arrangements, requires that arrangements shell be provided to enable the pilot to embark and disembark safely on either side of the ship and Clause 3.3 states that safe and convenient access to, and egress form, the ship shall be provided by, (3.3.2), an accommodation ladder in conjunction with the pilot ladder, of other equally safe and convenient means, whenever the meters. The accommodation ladder shall be sited leading aft. When in use, the lower and of the accommodation ladder shall rest firmly against the ship’s side with the parallel body length of the ship and, as far as is practicable, within the mid-ship half length and clear of all discharges.

2.1 All arrangement used for pilot transfer shall efficiently fulfill their purpose of enabling pilots to embark and disembark safely. The appliances shall be kept clean, properly maintained and stowed and shall be regularly inspected to ensure that they are safe to use. They shall be used solely for the embarkation and disembarkation of personnel. 3.1 Arrangement shall be provided to enable the pilot to embark and disembark safely on either side of the ship.
3.2 In all ships, where the distance from sea level to the point of access to, or egress from, the ship exceeds 9 m, and when it is intended to embark and disembark pilots by means of the accommodation ladder, or other equally safe and convenient means in conjunction with a pilot ladder, the ship shall carry such equipment on each side, unless the equipment is capable of being transferred for use on either side.
3.3 Safe and convenient access to, and egress from, the ship shall be provided by either :
